Welcome to the official blog of the Saustrup family. A small part of the family anyway. This is the blog of HC and Nina! 
HC is somewhere in his early 30s, loves motorcycles, movies, photography and most things that run on electricity. He was born, raised and currently live in Århus, Denmark. It’s a nice little city with a population of 300.000 people. He works in the IT industry.
Nina is a bit younger, makes super cute sock puppets and loves to sing while she’s sitting on the back seat of HC’s motorcycle. She was born in Cherepovets, Russia, which is about the same size as Århus. She currently lives in the beautiful city of Saint Petersburg with a massive population of over 6 million people.
They met on the international dating site OkCupid in spring 2007. Their first e-mail was on March 21 and about three months later they met face to face in Saint Petersburg’s Pulkovo Airport.
On January 4, 2008 - a rather stormy winter day in Århus - just after 13:13 in the afternoon, HC proposed to Nina and she immediately said yes and we got married on May 17, 2008! After the wedding we went on an amazing honeymoon road trip through Europe and now we’re settling down in Århus.
There are a lot of challenges ahead of us - both exciting stuff and boring paperwork - and we thought we’d share some of our thoughts with the World.
